2. How can Chamber membership help my business?
Answer » Answer: Our members find there are many ways to market through the Chamber. Some of the ways you can do this at no additional costs are to: >> Have a website listing and link on the Chamber website. >> Have your business name, contact, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail shown in the Membership Directory. >> Network at monthly meetings or events. >> Host Chamber Events. >> Be recognized at meetings as a new member or as a "Featured Business of the Month." >> Participate in committees. >> Place brochures in the Chamber office. For a minimal fee you can: >> Include brochures in the monthly new resident mailings sent out by the Chamber office. >> Place advertisements in the Membership Directory. >> Sponsor special events.
4. How big is the Chamber?
Answer » Answer: We have more than 170 members. There are two professional staff members and many volunteers.
5. Who runs the Chamber?
Answer » Answer: Our Board of Directors consists of eight regular and three ex-officio members, representing all segments of the community. Some serve one or two-year elected terms and some are appointed.
6. When are the general membership meetings?
Answer » Answer: We hold 10 meetings throughout the year. Meetings are normally not held in August or December. The meetings are usually held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:00 noon or 7:00 pm. Committee meetings are held at various times and days of the month to accommodate the schedules of as many participants as possible.

6. If I cannot attend an event, are any of my employees eligible to attend?
Answer » Answer: If you have paid a general business membership, all of your employees are welcome to attend, either in your place or with you. In fact, many of our programs may benefit your employees more than they do you.
7. How do I get the most out of my Chamber membership?
Answer » Answer: Get involved. Contact the Chamber office or one of your Board members about joining a committee or project. Regularly attend meetings and become active on a committee. You will find the Chamber is a perfect place to make contacts and to discuss common issues with other business owners.
