Scholarship Program - 2010 Recipients




May 14, 2010 - The Raymore Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's scholarships. This year's recipients are Seniors Nikolas Bravo, Kristen Galant, Benjamin Jones, and Andrew Miller. Each of the recipients will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,125.00 to apply towards tuition, fees, or room and board associated with pursuing their degree at any accredited college or university.

The Raymore Chamber of Commerce hosts an Annual Pumpkin Auction in October of each year. Pumpkins and other fall related items created and donated by area Chamber businesses, staff and students of the Raymore-Peculiar School District, and area residents are displayed and auctioned off during a live auction and a silent auction. The proceeds from this auction are used to provide the annual scholarships.

Nikolas Bravo, 2010 Scholarship Recipient

Nikolas Bravo

Nikolas Bravo is the son of Roy and Shari Bravo of Raymore, Missouri. Nikolas plans to attend the University of Nebraska this fall majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Kristen Galant, 2010 Scholarship Recipient

Kristen Galant

Kristen Galant is the daughter of Dr. Mark and Carol Galant of Raymore, Missouri. Kristen plans to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) this fall majoring in Pharmacy.


Benjamin Jones, 2010 Scholarship Recipient

Benjamin Jones is the son of Jonathan and Maria Jones of Raymore, Missouri. Benjamin plans to attend Westminster College this fall majoring in Communications and Spanish.

Andrew Miller, 2010 Scholarship Recipient

Andrew Miller

Andrew Miller is the son of Jim and Kay Miller of Raymore, Missouri. Andrew plans to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) this fall majoring in Pre-Medicine.
