Information for the Raymore Chamber of Commerce 2009 Student Scholarship Application

The Raymore Chamber of Commerce hosts an Annual Pumpkin Auction in October of each year. Pumpkins and other fall related items, created and donated by area Chamber businesses, staff and students of the Raymore-Peculiar School District, and area residents are displayed and auctioned off during a live auction. The proceeds from this auction are used to provide the annual scholarships.

• The Chamber will award one (1) or more $1,000 scholarships.
• Applications will be judged by a panel of Chamber members. Names of the applicants will not be available to the panel members until after the judging has been completed.
• Scholarship recipients and their parents/guardians will be invited to attend a Chamber meeting where the recipients will be recognized and presented with certificates/checks.
• The scholarship will be paid when the recipient provides the Chamber with written confirmation that the student has been accepted and enrolled at a specific college or technical school (Examples of written confirmation: letter from college or school confirming enrollment, copy of bill for tuition, book fees, etc.).
• Scholarships are for one year only.
